
Five new vehicles burnt into ashes

Three brand new microbuses and two private cars which cost more than TK 20 lakh, were burnt into ashes and two cars partially damaged in an inferno that broke out at a motor workshop near city's Muradpur area on Monday afternoon.
Firemen claimed that the fire was originated from battery-sparking at about 3:30 p.m. at a workshop - Idris Motors - owned by Mohammad Idris.
